HEUER (Chronographe Camaro 12 - White / ref. 7220 S), vers 1968

Mythical “Tri-compax” pilot's chronograph from the 1970s, signed Camaro (in homage to the famous American car produced by Chevrolet).
Large aperture cushion-shaped brushed steel case with screwed back (signed Leonidas Heuer, numbered). Silvered dial with three hollowed counters (small seconds at 9 o'clock, minutes at 3 o'clock, hours at 6 o'clock), minute track scale on flange. Large applied indexes, tritium dots and skeleton spatula hands with luminescent substance, large chronograph second hand.
Vintage pilot leather strap, one black sport strap and one blue rally leather strap. A vintage HEUER buckle is included.
Movement: Mechanical manual winding caliber signed HEUER LEONIDAS / Valjoux 72 Swiss.
