Extremely rare "Olive Drab" version of the racing driver's chronograph from the last HEUER Chrono-Matic "Autavia" productions.
Khaki green (olive drab) anodized steel case, nut pushers and crown, steel screwed back decorated with HEUER logo (signed Leonidas Heuer inside and numbered). Large chocolate-colored fluted unidirectional bezel graduated to 60. Black lacquered dial version with two slate-gray circled counters (hours at 9 o'clock and minutes at 3 o'clock with white 5-minute marking), date window at 6 o'clock. Applied indexes, Tritium dots and luminescent spatula hands.
Supplied with three straps, a vintage Khaki pilot leather strap with HEUER buckle, a Khaki canvas NATO strap and a vintage oiled leather rally strap.
This piece is brand-new from a vintage watchmaker's stock, and has also been produced in a light and dark gray anodized version with matching bracelet.
