Reissue of the legendary COPILOT- AVI aviator's chronograph, reference 765 (caliber Venus 178) produced by the Manufacture in the 1960s (1964). A similar model was worn by actress Raquel Welch in the Fathoms film about aviation from the same period. This rare collector's reissue (produced in just 164 examples) faithfully reproduces the 1960s chronograph.
Large aperture steel case with horn handles and screwed back (signed Breitling with the tribute reference “One of 164” and numbered). Black amorphous carbon-coated bidirectional ratcheting steel bezel graduated to 12 with red marker. Matte black dial with three hollowed silvered counters, seconds at 9 o'clock, hours at 6 o'clock and minutes at 3 o'clock with luminescent dots and arrowhead hands (like the original). Cream-colored stick indexes and luminescent skeleton hands. Plexiglass crystal.
BREITLING pilot strap in black overstitched leather with original pin buckle, Tropic rubber strap from the 1970s and havana leather strap from order.
Movement: Mechanical manual winding Caliber signed BREITLING / Manufacture Calibre B09 (70-hour power reserve - 34 jewels) Swiss.
