Rare version of the Porsche Design 7177 Military fighter pilot chronograph, series produced for NATO (complete written version from the workshops by Orfina). Produced in limited numbers by Orfina Suisse (under contract with Porsche Design at the time). Legend says that this chronograph range was worn by the actors in the movie Top Gun. A beautiful new version has just been reissued by Porsche Design.
Tritium hands and indexes, 3 o'clock no-radiation logo, Porsche Design script and Military at 3 o'clock. Black anodized steel case, smooth bezel, engraved screwed steel back (Military and endowment reference, numbered). Black dial with three counters: seconds at 9 o'clock, 24-hour reading dial at 12 o'clock, aircraft-shaped hands (mirage orange) for minutes, date and days of the week in aperture at 3 o'clock (in English), graduated bezel on flange at 12 o'clock. Mineral glass with anti-reflective coating.
Supplied with black leather rally-style control strap, military NATO and patinated havana leather strap.
Movement: Mechanical automatic winding caliber LEMANIA / 5100 Swiss.
